See what Meta will reject in your product feed
Paste your feed URL. In a few seconds you get every missing required field, every empty column and every value Meta refuses — with the exact spelling Meta wants instead. No signup, nothing stored.
What this checks
- Required fields
id, title, description, availability, condition, price, link and image_link — matched against your columns by name.
- Rejected values
Meta accepts "in stock", not "in_stock" or "yes". We list every value in your feed Meta refuses, and what it should be.
- Empty columns
A column that is mapped but blank on every row fails the whole import. Easy to miss, easy to catch.
- Format and structure
CSV, TSV, XML or JSON, delimiters and nested fields detected automatically — including feeds served with the wrong content type.
Questions
- Why does Meta reject products in my catalog?
- Almost always one of three things: a required field is missing (id, title, description, availability, condition, price, link, image_link), a mapped column is empty on every row, or a value is spelled in a way Meta does not accept — "in_stock" instead of "in stock" is the single most common one. The checker looks for all three.
- What are Meta's required catalog fields?
- For a product catalog: id, title, description, availability, condition, price, link and image_link. Availability must be one of "in stock", "out of stock", "available for order", "preorder" or "discontinued". Condition must be "new", "refurbished" or "used". Anything else is rejected at import.
- Which feed formats can I check?
- CSV, TSV, XML (Google Merchant RSS and custom schemas) and JSON. We detect the format from the file itself, so a feed served as text/plain still works.
- Do you store my feed?
- No. The feed is fetched, parsed in memory and dropped when the check finishes. We keep a counter of how many checks ran and how many errors they found — never the products, never the URL.
- Can I fix the problems automatically?
- Yes, that's the product. CatalogueAds re-maps your columns and rewrites rejected values on every fetch, then serves Meta a clean feed at a URL you paste into Commerce Manager. The free plan covers 100 products.
